Machining Operators needed for a large manufacturing company located in Morristown, TN.  These are 2nd and 3rd shift positions and overtime on weekends is required through the busy periods.  Starting pay will be $21.31 per hour.  An excellent benefits package is included.


Machining QC Operators are responsible for multiple CNC machining centers in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  This is a contract-to-hire position and candidates must be flexible to work any shift.  Successful candidates will have a background in machine shop, CNC, and/or metal cutting environments.

Machining QC Operator Duties and Responsibilities 

Responsible for setting up machining centers, making tool changes, verifying quality control over product, and routine preventative maintenance and upkeep of machines. Operators will be responsible for tooling offsets and working Maintenance to identify trouble with machinery.  Knowledge of CNC machines and metal cutting is required.

Machining QC Operator Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED is required. Technical degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CNC equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of tooling and setting up machines.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
