Job Summary:

Accurately evaluate options and design safe, cost-effective, and reliable facilities for basic residential OH and UG services, non complex lighting, performs site ready inspections, and mapping. As a result of this position’s customer interaction; the Expediter has primary face-to-face contacts with customers (both internal and external) requiring them to be self-motivated, safety conscious, reliable, and trustworthy; as well as technically competent.


Duties and Responsibilities:

This self-directed individual develops relationships with internal and external customers, builders, developers, electricians, other utilities, city officials, etc., and promotes methods and procedures that maximize effectiveness. A primary task of this position is learning company policies and procedures and developing knowledge in the design and construction of electric distribution facilities to serve a variety of customers.


Required Qualifications;

  • Minimum of a two year degree in a technical discipline, such as electronics, construction, electrical, mechanical or civil engineering or technology or High School diploma with significant field experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 Year technical degree or 4years experience within Distribution.
  • Understanding of Electric Distribution materials, work procedures, and work dependencies
  • Proficient user of PC based programs commonly used in analyzing, preparing and managing field work.
