Customer Support Technician

MForce has an immediate opening for a Customer Support Technician with a company located in Knoxville, TN.  This is a direct hire opportunity.  The client offers an excellent salary and benefits package.

Job Description:

Responsible for managing and directing the daily execution of contract requirements to assure customer requirements are met. This individual will provide interface, communication and coordination with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to existing contracts.

Duties:

  1. Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to assure that customer expectations are met.
  2. Lead all meetings and the integrated project team (kick-off through project close)
  3. Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risk throughout the project life cycle.
  4. Serve as the primary interface with the customer on all matters involving contract execution coordinating with other departments on resolution of contractual problems. Assure that conduct of contract requirements is executed in accordance with appropriate regulations and Company policies and procedures (i.e.: federal acquisition regulations)
  5. Assure a timely closeout of completed projects to ensure that all obligations are satisfied, and program documentation is properly recorded.

Qualifications Skills and Knowledge

  1. Engineering or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Solid leadership, management and communication skills particularly in “influence management” and “conflict resolution”
  3. Excellent customer interface skills, presentation and problem-solving skills
  4. Exposure to finance, contracting, export regulations, engineering, logistics, manufacturing and/or supply chain management
  5. Demonstrated success in project reviews, scheduling and budget
  6. Experience with production of water purification systems preferred. 

 

Education Required:  Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience in a similar role.

 

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of previous experience or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills, including expertise with MS Office Suite and MS Project
  • Knowledge of project management tools and procedures
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • US Citizen
