M Force to Participate in ModernTech Mechanical’s Layoff Payoff Program

Program provides free resources and support to displaced engineers and designers

Knoxville, TN (April 6, 2009) – M Force, a technical staffing firm, announces its participation in ModernTech Mechanical’s “Layoff Payoff Program.” The program offers displaced engineers and designers free SolidWorks 3D CAD software, training, Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification, and free job placement services by M Force. Launching in April 2009, ModernTech Mechanical’s Layoff Payoff program will run through the end of June 2009. 

Sister company to ModernTech Mechanical, M Force will provide program participants job placement support, including a job seeker resource guide, premium placement in their employer database, and career placement services.

Registrants will also receive a free 90-day trial of SolidWorks Standard and SolidWorks eDrawings software compliments of SolidWorks, and a 3 hour hands-on test drive training session hosted at one of ModernTech Mechanical’s locations across the Southeast. Upon completion of and passing an exam, attendees will also receive a CSWA certificate.

To qualify for the free program, candidates must be a designer or engineer who within the last 12 months, were displaced from a position where 2D or 3D CAD tools were used. Candidates must additionally provide proof of unemployment in the form of a current statement of unemployment benefits.
