Needs to be familiar with motion controls and IC 61131, which is a combination of programming languages of: ladder logic, structure text, instruction list, function block, CFC, and SFC. Must know and understand and be able to design motion control mechanisms and same with Robotics. Knowledge of some or all of the following controllers : Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, Siemans, Phoenix, BNR, Rockwell. someone with advanced automation and system controls experience a must. Should be as a minimum a BSEE and would prefer a MS. some knowledge of commissioning and kinematics is preferred. Would consider a temp to perm or direct.
