People Make the Difference in Clarksville
by Jessica Copenhaver
Two years ago my husband and I were excited when we received orders for Ft. Campbell. Today, the area has surpassed all of our expectations. The Clarksville area is without a doubt the friendliest community I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of. Wherever we go, people have gone out of their way to help us with whatever we need. Whether it’s a friendly customer service associate in a store, or our kind neighbor who goes out of his way to help me while my husband is out of town for training or deployed, we couldn’t feel more at home anywhere than we do in Clarksville.
We've worked hard to get M Force up and running in Clarksville (I even got to celebrate with giant pair of scissors!), but that doesn't mean we haven't taken the time to enjoy ourselves!
There is always a ton of things to do in Clarksville and the surrounding areas. We have been able to enjoy Nashville in one direction and the amazing outdoor adventures at Land Between the Lakes in the other. We have recently started spending more time at Liberty Park & Clarksville Marina. The park is a wonderful place to go and offers a dog park, fishing pond and walking trail. We also spend a lot of time enjoying the river. I could go on and on with the lists of activities there are in the area and am learning more and more things to do in our community and surrounding areas every day. I was out of town last year and unable to make it but am very much so looking forward to experiencing RIVERFEST this year. I have always heard positive feedback about it!
I am truly grateful to the surrounding areas of Ft. Campbell for helping to make us feel so welcome. We are extremely fortunate to be a part of such an outstanding community. I love living here and am looking forward to meeting new people and being able to experience all of the events and activities that Clarksville has to offer.
